terms of service

Terms for using HopeGraph

By using HopeGraph, you agree to these terms. Please read the sections on purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and the limits of the readings.

What HopeGraph is

HopeGraph generates Bazi (Chinese Four Pillars) personality readings and forecasts in plain English. We offer:

  • Free personal birth-chart and compatibility readings.
  • A paid product: the HopeGraph Deep Dive ($29, one-time), a long-form extended reading covering career & money, relationships, the next 12 months, and your central challenge.
  • A paid subscription: HopeGraph Daily ($12/month or $99/year), a short letter emailed each morning, based on your birth chart and the day’s Bazi interpretation. You may add one other person for a relationship reflection.

We calculate your chart from your birth details using Bazi calendar rules. Claude, an AI from Anthropic, uses those calculated results to write the interpretation.

Entertainment and self-reflection only

HopeGraph is for entertainment and self-reflection only. Nothing on the site is medical, legal, financial, psychiatric, or therapeutic advice. We do not predict specific future events, including marriages, breakups, pregnancies, deaths, financial outcomes, lawsuits, illness, or career events.

For medical, legal, financial, or mental health decisions, consult an appropriately qualified professional. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please call or text 988 (US/Canada) to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

We are not trained or licensed practitioners of Bazi, medicine, law, or finance. We are a software product that uses a traditional interpretive framework to offer readings for entertainment and self-reflection.

Purchases

The HopeGraph Deep Dive is a one-time digital purchase of $29 (USD). Payment is processed by Stripe; we never see your card details.

After payment, your Deep Dive is generated within roughly 2–3 minutes and delivered in two ways: (1) you're redirected to a permanent URL displaying the reading, and (2) we email the same URL to the address you provided at checkout.

Your reading is saved at a permanent link that you can bookmark and revisit. You may share the URL or its contents privately with anyone you wish.

Subscriptions (HopeGraph Daily)

HopeGraph Daily is $12 per month or $99 per year, billed in advance and renewing automatically until you cancel. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see your card details.

Cancelling. Use the link at the bottom of any Daily email, or email admin@hopegraph.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for. You can keep receiving Daily until then or choose to stop the emails immediately. Both options cancel future billing. We do not prorate mid-period.

Refunds on subscriptions. Full refund if you ask within 7 days of your first payment (14 days for an annual plan). After that, cancel any time and you simply aren't billed again. We will always refund a duplicate charge, a charge on the wrong account, or any period where we failed to deliver the emails you paid for.

Failed payments.Stripe retries a declined card for several days and we keep sending during that window. If it ultimately fails, delivery stops and we'll email you.

Delivery. We aim to send each morning at the hour you choose, in your timezone. We can't guarantee exact timing or that your provider will place it in your inbox rather than a spam folder. An occasional missed day due to a technical fault is not a breach of these terms; a sustained failure entitles you to a refund for that period.

Refunds

We offer a 7-day satisfaction refund. If you are not satisfied with your Deep Dive, email us within 7 days of purchase at admin@hopegraph.com with your reading URL and we'll refund your $29, no questions asked. After 7 days, all sales are final.

If the reading fails to generate or you can't access your permanent URL due to a technical issue on our end, we will refund it or prepare it again, whichever you prefer. There is no time limit on this guarantee.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools to scrape, copy, or republish readings in bulk.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the prompts that generate readings.
  • Use the service to harass, defame, or harm anyone (including generating compatibility readings for non- consenting third parties for harassment purposes).
  • Submit fraudulent payment information or chargebacks for purchases you actually received.

Intellectual property

The HopeGraph brand, the ten archetype names (The Radiant Catalyst, The Winter Architect, etc.), the prose templates, and the visual design are owned by Bright Beyond Ventures LLC. You may not reproduce them at scale or build a competing product on top of them.

The text of a reading you purchased is yours to keep, share privately, and quote from. Please don't republish the full text on a public website that competes with us.

Disclaimer of warranties

HopeGraph is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error- free, or that any reading will be accurate, helpful, or relevant to you. Bazi is a traditional interpretive framework, and practitioners may disagree about how to apply it.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bright Beyond Ventures LLC and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of HopeGraph. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the past 12 months (for most users, $0; for a Deep Dive buyer, $29; for a Daily subscriber, what they were actually billed).

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms over time. If we make material changes that affect paid customers, we'll email everyone who has purchased a Deep Dive. The current version always lives at this URL with the “Last updated” date below.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
